"Marzo" and the shark teeth. Marzo y el diente de tiburón.

What summer 2019! I enjoy a lot working in Menorca in all those projects I left unfinished. The light in Menorca is just magical. The essence of those lands makes you levitate in a creative bubble, and it is when I enjoy carving marès stone.

 ¡Qué verano 2019! Disfruto mucho trabajando en Menorca en todos esos proyectos que dejé sin terminar. La luz en Menorca es simplemente mágica. La esencia de esas tierras te hace levitar en una burbuja creativa, y es cuando disfruto tallando piedra marès.

 I started making the third sculpture of a new series, composed of twelve pieces. Each one shows a woman posture representing one of the months. "Marzo".

Comencé a hacer la tercera escultura de una nueva serie, compuesta de doce piezas. Cada uno muestra una postura de mujer que representa uno de los meses. "Marzo".

When I was still carving the first phase of the stone, I found something strangely hard inside. There is always fossil shells and bits of fossils in this beautiful "mares" stones. But this was something much harder!.

Cuando todavía estaba tallando la primera fase de la piedra, encontré algo extrañamente duro en su interior. Siempre hay conchas fósiles y trozos de fósiles en estas hermosas piedras "marès". ¡Pero esto era algo más duro!

Then I started carving around this hidden treasure, and it happened to be a shark teeth fossil. Mako's teeth. A stunning piece of nature hidden for centuries in that bit of stone. I love it.

Entonces comencé a tallar alrededor de este tesoro escondido, y resultó ser un fósil de dientes de tiburón. Los dientes de Mako. Una impresionante pieza de la naturaleza escondida durante siglos en esa piedra. Me encanta.

I finished "Marzo" and sold it straight to a French family that was visiting the island on holidays. I miss her...

Terminé "Marzo" y lo vendí directamente a una familia francesa que estaba de vacaciones en la isla. La extraño ...
